FC-16 Go Compatibility List

I recently came across an interesting device: the FC-16 Go. What is it you may ask? It's a portable SNES made by Yobo. But wait! There's more. You can also hook it up to the TV using the included cords and use the included wireless controllers to play it on the big screen. One thing I was curious about, however, was the compatibility of the system. Being third party, I was wary of which games may and may not work. I attempted to find a compatibility list with no luck. Now that the device is in my possession, I'm going to attempt to create one. Below are games I have tested and their compatibility with the system.

COMPATIBLE:

  • Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rampage

  • Chuck Rock

  • Chrono Trigger*

  • Donkey Kong Country 2*

  • Dragon Quest I + II (Japanese import)**

  • Dragon Quest III (Japanese import)**

  • Dragon Quest V (Japanese import)**
  • Dragon Quest VI (Japanese import)**

  • Earthbound*

  • Earthworm Jim 2

  • Final Fantasy II*

  • Final Fantasy III*

  • Hardball III

  • Harvest Moon*

  • Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past*

  • Mario Paint***

  • Simcity*

  • Super Mario All Stars****

  • Super Mario All Stars + World*

  • Super Mario Kart**

  • Super Mario World*

  • Tetris Attack

SEMI COMPATIBLE

  • Game Genie (It works but I've noticed it will auto press Start sometimes)

NOT COMPATIBLE

  • Super Mario RPG (Hangs on black screen/garbled images)

*Be cautious when playing games with battery backed saves on this console. I had the misfortune of losing all my Final Fantasy II saves because I set it down a little too roughly, which jarred the cartridge and glitched the game, deleting my save files.

**Must have a convertor or cut the pins on the device (strongly advise against this as this makes the cartridge more susceptible to movement. Read above warning for more info on what happens).

***Runs perfectly but cannot play due to lack of controller ports for mouse or wireless mouse.

****Not tested but assumed it works, due to the "bonus game" version working perfectly.
